CCD Hotels and Resorts built the Mai Khao beach resort complex in 2009; it has operated under different hotel brands over the years and is now marketed as Splash Beach Resort under Langham Hospitality Group management. The villa portion of the complex is sold on the residential market alongside the hotel rooms.
