A major south-island condo project: studios and 1–2BR between Nai Harn and Rawai, 2 km from Promthep Cape
VIP Space Odyssey is one of southern Phuket’s largest condo projects: around 600 units from studios to two-bedrooms (29–69 sqm) in eight-storey buildings between Nai Harn and Rawai, less than 2 km from the Promthep Cape viewpoint. The developer, VIP Thailand Group, builds serially in the south and markets aggressively to the Russian-speaking segment.
Rawai Beach is about 800 metres away, Nai Harn is around 3 km (5–6 minutes by car), and Promthep Cape viewpoint is about 2 km. This is deep in the island’s south: HKT Airport is around 49 km away, or 50–70 minutes on the road, worth factoring into logistics ahead of time, especially for transfers and short visits. On-site are infinity-edge rooftop pools, a restaurant, a gym, a spa, a kids’ room, and co-working space; BCIS International School is 19–20 minutes by car.
The economics are about price: ~150k THB per square metre and entry from ~4.4M THB — noticeably cheaper than comparable new launches in Bang Tao or Nai Yang. Southern Phuket lives on a different rental market — long-term: expats, winter stayers, remote workers. Occupancy is steadier, but rates are lower than the west coast’s tourist short-lets.
The main thing to weigh: completion in December 2028 is a long horizon, and over that distance the quality of the developer and the contract decides everything. Published CAM fee, sinking fund, and pet policy figures found in open sources are copied verbatim across unrelated aggregator project pages — boilerplate text, not VIP Space Odyssey’s actual terms — so we chose not to publish them.
We’ll check the payment schedule, penalty terms and current construction pace, compare it with southern alternatives (The Title, Utopia) — and tell you honestly whether this is the right entry.

Announced completion is December 2028; with ~600 units the payment schedule is long — good for instalments, but it makes developer due diligence essential. VIP Thailand builds serially in the south; we can send the current construction status on request.
Southern Phuket, between Nai Harn and Rawai beaches, under 2 km from Promthep Cape. Don’t confuse it with VIP’s Nai Yang projects — the developer has several sites on the island.
Investors with budgets up to $150k targeting long-term rentals and winter stayers: the south is cheaper than the west, and the rental audience is expats and long-stay guests rather than beach tourists. We’ll send an honest pros/cons breakdown with the price list.
